Three changes to Springbok match 22

Springbok coach Peter de Villiers made three changes to the match 22 that beat the All Blacks in Bloemfontein last weekend, one in the starting XV and two on the bench, for Saturday’s second Tri-Nations Test against New Zealand in Durban.

Morné Steyn starts at No.10 ahead of Ruan Pienaar, who is injured. Lock Andries Bekker returns in the place of loose forward Ryan Kankowski on the bench, while fit-again centre Adi Jacobs takes Morné Steyn’s place on the bench.

Springbok wing Bryan Habana and centre Jean de Villiers will both earn their 50th Test caps for South Africa, while captain John Smit will become the record-holder for the most experienced Test captain ever.
